Universal Coin & Bullion is an authorized Professional Numismatists Guild Accredited Precious Metals Dealer. A PNG program for trusted precious metals dealers. The PNG was established in 1955 and is one of the most prestigious industry organizations for leading rare coin and bullion dealers. In 2016 and 2024, UCB founder Dr. Mike Fuljenz was honored with the PNG’s Sol Kaplan Award for crime fighting in the coin and bullion marketplace.

National Coin and Bullion Association - NCBA

Universal Coin & Bullion founder, Dr. Mike Fuljenz, was a founding member of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets (ICTA) in 1993. ICTA was founded as an Industry advocate for the rare coin and precious metals industry and to foster a favorable regulatory and taxation climate. He has served as a board member or executive board member since then. The organization is now known as the National Coin and Bullion Association (NCBA). In 2017, ICTA presented Dr. Fuljenz with the Al Kreuzer Memorial Award for his efforts in fighting counterfeits in the coin and bullion marketplace.

Numismatic Literary Guild - NLG

Founded in 1968, the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) is the leading national organization of writers, editors, bloggers, content creators and media covering all forms of money. Universal Coin & Bullion’s founder, Dr. Mike Fuljenz, competed against his industry peers and was awarded the NLG Investment Book of the Year Award in 2023. Since 2000, he has received six book-of-the-year awards from the NLG, along with over 50 other top NLG awards across 10 different categories. Dr. Fuljenz also served on the NLG board from 2013 to 2020.

American Numismatic Association - ANA

The congressionally chartered American Numismatic Association (ANA) was founded in 1891 and is the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to coin collecting and the study of money. In 2021, they recognized member Dr. Mike Fuljenz, and Universal Coin & Bullion, as their Dealer of the Year. In 2023, the ANA presented their highest award, the Chester L. Krause Memorial Distinguished Service Award to Dr. Fuljenz. Dr. Fuljenz worked for the ANA for two years as an authenticator and grader and taught classes on grading and counterfeit detection for them from 1982 to 2000 to collectors, dealers and law enforcement.
