$10 Indian MS-62 (62)

The 1926 is the second most common Indian Head Eagle, trailing only the ubiquitous 1932. It is easy to locate in all grades up to and including MS-65 but it is considerably harder to find than the 1932 in Gem condition.

This tends to be a very well struck issue. Most 1926 Eagles are fully detailed at the centers and the borders. On a few pieces, there is some weakness on the curls around the Indian’s ear but a sharply struck piece can be found with relatively minimal effort.
